I found this while rummaging around the studio and it fits this week's Illustration Friday theme perfectly. It was for a story about a man who received a message from an angel while sleeping. Sometimes, I think we can all use a little inspiration from above.
Great feeling to this piece. I like the monotone approach to it -- looks about like one feels when down in the dumps or muddled about something, and the mercy that calmly waits to enliven us again.
I have been making art for as long as I can remember. These days I work in acrylic paint or Photoshop when creating illustrations for magazines, children's book publishers and advertising clients. My recent passion is Plein Air oil painting.
